The Mendenhall grounds offers a number of nice spots for portraits of the bride and groom and small groups. It can be a bit challenging to shoot large groups here depending on the time of day (because of lighting) but luckily there are a number of great portrait locations within 30 min of Mendenhall.

Chadds Ford winery offers a rustic look and a pond with beautiful weeping willows.

One of the perks of having your wedding at Mendenhall is that the hotel is onsite and a short walk across the parking lot from the ballrooms. They offer various sizes of bridal suites which are included in most packages. The rooms are tastefully decorated with plenty of window light for photography.

Depending on which Ballroom you book and the number of guests you need to seat, Mendenhall has a number of options for indoor and outdoor uncovered weddings.

In the Grand Ballroom you have the option of transforming the dance floor into a ceremony area with pipe and drape curtains. This looks beautiful and seats a very large number of guests. For smaller weddings you may choose to have your ceremony inside the covered patio area just behind the ballroom. There are no outdoor options in theGrand Ballroom.

The Gold Ballroom offers indoor ceremony accomodations by transforming the dance floor into a space for your ceremony.

Outdoor ceremonies hosted at the Gold Ballroom take place on its beautifully landscaped patio with wrought iron gates and white stone walls.

The captivating Grand Ballroom showcases a breathtaking spiral staircase that provides an unforgettable entrance for you and your bridal party. The room is beautifully decorated with gold and crystal accents and features an immense dance floor and vaulted ceilings. An upstairs loft provides a private space for you and your bridal party. This ballroom can host up to 300 guests.

The Gold Ballroom is slightly more intimate than Grand Ballroom but is still a large space decorated in much the same manner. It lacks the private loft space of the Grand Ballroom but proudly features an exquisite outdoor patio.

Mendehhall inn is located just off Rt 1 its minutes from Rt 202,  Rt 322 and 95 providing easy access to many area salons and offsite locations for photography. The hotel and ballrooms are completely wheelchair accesible.
